My questions.

1.   What are you planning to do on His Holiness’s birthday?

2.   What does His Holiness’s birthday make you feel?

3.   What is the historical significance of His Holiness’s birthday?

My answers

1.  For me, I will go to work in the morning, and in the afternoon I will cook with Tibetans for the homeless people in Washington DC area. This is a program that also gives an opportunity to spread His Holiness’s message of compassion.

2.  As His Holiness gets older, his birthday also makes me feel sad. It makes me concerned because each of his birthdays brings the people of Tibet and the people of world closer to the time of separation from His Holiness. His Holiness’s birthday also reminds me his advices and the responsibilities that I have.

3.  To me, His Holiness’s birthday represents the beginning of revolution, mind-opening and brightness. This day gave us, the Tibetans, a great leader who is also recognized as such by many people in the world.
